Photodetectors for weak signal conditions from Au/Cu co-doped ZnO

Here, we have used a simple method for polyol synthesis, analysis, and testing of Au/Cu-doped ZnO Ultraviolet (UV) photodetectors (PD). Our results are reported discussed by X-ray diffraction (XRD) to ensure that the manufactured samples show hexagonal wurtzite structure. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) confirmed nanoparticle growth in sample on surface, which is key improving light response. prepared UV PD Au/Cu codoped showed rapid time at power density 7.6 mW. highest responsivity R = 575 mA/W sensitivity 103 obtained mW with an applied voltage 1 V. demonstrate obvious substitution Au Cu ZnO, thereby UV-sensing
